Our 2017 Advent Offering

Last year was our first experience of having an Advent Offering which replaced our February Sacrifice Offering. What a thrill it was to receive nearly $67,000! This offering helps in providing disaster relief when such events occur on our mission fields. It also assists in the operational costs. This past year funds from this account enabled us to send finances to Yemen for the Humanitarian Relief and just recently, to our churches in the Caribbean region due to the damage from the hurricane.

Our theme for the offering this year is The Way in a Manger. Truly, He is the way and the truth and the life… John 14:6. Let’s not hold back in sharing The Way with friends, neighbors and those around the world. You may not feel called to another country to share The Way, but we can all lighten the load of those who have responded to the call God has given them. Let’s work at making this offering the best yet! The goal this year is to raise $75,000.

2012 Ministerial Conference

The 2012 Ministerial Conference will be held on April 10th at the Maxwell Center at Ohio Christian University.  All CCCU ministers are invited to attend a day of equipping and encouragement.  Dr. Tom Hermiz and and Dr. James Diehl will present on the theme "Preach the Word!".

Dr. James Diehl

Dr. Jim Diehl has served with the Church of the Nazarene as a pastor, administrator, district superintendent, board member of several Nazarene universities and the Nazarene Theological Seminary and General Superintendent.  Dr. Diehl has written several articles.  His humor and love for people are evident from his preaching.  His heart beats ardently for evangelism, missions, youth, families and the communication of the Spirit filled life to people of all ages and cultures.

Dr. Tom Hermiz

Dr. Tom Hermiz serves as the General Superintendent of The Churches of Christ in Christian Union. He has served as pastor, executive director
and president of the Christian Holiness Partnership, president of World Gospel Mission and evangelist.

In recent years he has been in great demand as a speaker for camp meetings, Bible and missions conferences, and local church crusades. His preaching ministry has taken him to every section of the nation and into the West Indies, Asia, the Orient, Africa, South America, Central America, and Europe.

Dr. Mark Murphy

Rev. Mark Murphy is a graduate of Olivet Nazarene University.  He has been a gospel soloist and recording artist since 1980.  He is an ordained elder with the Church of the Nazarene as a preaching and singing commissioned evangelist.
