The ECY Department is proud to welcome Rev. Aaron Green as President of the General Evangelical Christian Youth (ECY) Board. Green was appointed by General Board of Trustees to fill the unexpired term of Rev. Michael Tipton, who was appointed General Missionary Superintendent.

Green brings a wealth of youth ministry experience to the General ECY Board. He is the Pastor of Student Ministries at Faith Memorial CCCU in Lancaster, Ohio, and Camp Coordinator for Teens of Praise, the youth ministry component of Mount of Praise Camp Meeting. Green is no stranger to the District and General ECY ministries. He has served as the West Central District ECY President and ECY Editor. He was instrumental in starting the West Central District ECY Fall Retreat.

Upon being appointed, Green shared, “It has been a joy and privilege to serve the youth of our CCCU churches for these last several years. Providing quality programming and strengthening the connections between our local youth groups will continue to be a priority for me. I especially want to thank Michael Tipton and the entire General ECY Board for their strategic vision casting and emphasis on youth leader training opportunities.”

Tipton shared, “Aaron is passionate about seeing young people saved, sanctified, discipled, and equipped for ministry. He brings great depth of experience and keen insights on local church youth ministry, youth culture, opportunities and challenges facing youth workers, and denominational ministries. He is well-prepared for this opportunity, and I look forward to his leadership.”

Prior to his ministry at Faith Memorial, Green served as the Pastor of Student Ministries at New Castle 1st Church of the Nazarene in Indiana. While serving in New Castle, he served as District Youth President. He directed district level ministries including camps, district retreats, Bible quizzing, and mission trips.

Green holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Political Science from Olivet Nazarene University and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College. Green and his wife, Rachael, have three children.
